This policy applies to information we collect on this Website,https://www.networkbits.co(networkbits.co), and in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and this Website. It does not apply to information collected offline or through any other means, including any other website operated by NetworkBits or any third party, including through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from or on the Website.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Website. By accessing or using this Website, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of this Website after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.
Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Website, including:
- Personal information by which you may be identified, such as name, company name, email address, telephone number, and any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (“personal information”).
- Information that is about you but individually does not identify you, such as your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website, and usage details.
We collect this information:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us, including through forms on this Website (for example, requesting a consultation), subscribing to our services, or otherwise contacting us.
- Automatically as you navigate through the site. Information collected automatically may include IP addresses and usage details needed to operate and secure the Website. This Website uses minimal, cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics (when enabled) and does not use advertising trackers. Cloudflare Turnstile, used to reduce spam on the contact form, may set a strictly necessary cookie to distinguish people from bots.
Information you may provide on forms includes name, business name, email, optional phone number, business type, employee and location counts, services requested, message, preferred contact method, privacy consent, and optional SMS consent.
How We Use Your Information
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:
- To present our Website and its contents to you.
- To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us.
- To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it, including responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, and sending service updates you asked for.
- To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.
- To notify you about changes to our Website or any products or services we offer or provide through it.
- In any other way we may describe when you provide the information, or for any other purpose with your consent.
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number for the non-marketing conversations and notifications described in the SMS / Text Messaging section below and our SMS Terms.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates, subject to this policy.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them. Our processors for this Website include:
- Cloudflare — hosting, Turnstile spam protection, and cookieless Web Analytics.
- Resend — sending email related to inquiries and notices.
- Twilio — delivering SMS if you opt in to text messages.
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of NETWORKBITS LLC’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by NetworkBits about our Website users is among the assets transferred.
- To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
- To enforce or apply our Terms of Service and other agreements.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of NetworkBits, our customers, or others.
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, or with your consent.
SMS / Text Messaging
NETWORKBITS LLC (NetworkBits) collects your mobile number and records of SMS consent to provide the text messages you request. Our main line supports two-way inquiry and service conversations; our notifications line sends appointment reminders, managed-network/service alerts, project updates, and reminders about NetworkBits service invoices. A text you initiate permits replies to that conversation only. Recurring notifications require your separate affirmative opt-in on our contact form. We retain consent records, including the number, date/time, source and disclosure version, to document your choices. Mobile information will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We use service providers, including Twilio, only as needed to deliver and support the messaging service, not for their own marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or email info@networkbits.co. SMS Terms.
Cookies
You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. This Website does not use advertising cookies or advertising trackers. Analytics, when enabled, is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. Turnstile may use a functional cookie solely to operate spam protection. If you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of this Website (including the contact form) may be inaccessible or not function properly.
Data Retention
We keep inquiry records, including contact form submissions and related email, for as long as needed to respond to you, perform the services you request, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, then delete or minimize them. Resend and Twilio retain message logs according to their own retention settings. IP addresses used for rate limiting are stored briefly in memory on our Cloudflare Worker. SMS opt-in records are kept while you remain opted in and for a reasonable period afterward to demonstrate consent.
Your Rights to Access and Deletion
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailinginfo@networkbits.co. We may need enough information to locate the right record. To stop SMS messages, replySTOP to any NetworkBits text. Reply HELP for help.
Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website.
